Kate Spade x Cosmopolitan Hong Kong

The September 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan Hong Kong had been flying off the shelves, and I was lucky to get my hands on it. I didn't get it when it was first released as the few copies that hit the shelves of Kinokuniya were sold out the minute the store was open (and I got there too late!). I picked up my copy during the sea shipment of the magazine and I'm pretty pleased! It comes with the highly coveted Kate Spade pouches. More photos and review after the jump!

The packaging was pretty intricate, and there was a gold sticker sealing the envelope that contained the pouches.

The black pouch is card-sized, while the red pouch is about double the size of the black one. Both are made of PVC, and the zip comes with the iconic spade logo. A very nice and luxe touch for something that came along with magazines! Even the interior has an extra lining. I must say that the pouch is exceptionally well made.

The logo is printed in gold. I think it can be scrapped off with wear, so I'll be more careful with it. Such a gold painted logo isn't uncommon for the KS products, as my blackberry pouch comes with the same type of gold logo (and that, sadly, came off after two months).

The smaller card case can fit cards, while the larger one can fit makeup brushes and pencils. Here's how they compare with a deck of poker cards:

The magazine also comes with a voucher, but by the time I got the magazine, it's already expired. I'm not in Hong Kong either, so the promotion isn't valid.

Loving it, and gonna use the pouches to organize my stuff!
