Darkness Tweezers

Previously featured: Darkness Eyelash Glue and Eyelid Tape

I am quite a fan of darkness eyelash products, as from my previous entries. Besides the eye products, it also offers some tools, and I picked up their series of tweezers to try out recently. What caught my eye was that the tweezer is dual-ended! Great for on-the-go touchups and emergencies.

agnès b for Eclipse mints

I recently spotted these tin mints at the supermarket, and I couldn't resist picking up a few. agnès b has collaborated with eclipse for the holiday season to sell these limited edition tin mints. There's 4 designs in all, and I managed to grab 3 of them. The last design is only sold in the agnès b boutiques so I'll try my luck there.

DIY cat ear beanie tutorial

In the trend of my cat ear beret tutorial, I decided to make my own cat ear beanie as well. I've seen it in a lot of Japanese fashion magazines these days. With the colder season coming up, it's a good chance for me to indulge in some new headgear, hence I decided to upcycle my old beanie to make a feline-looking one.

Accessorizing my Uniqueen Tweed for fall

Remember my previous posts on my uniqueen jacket? I've introduced the jacket here and shared inspirations here. It's already late into fall, and I wanted to wear the jacket for the colder days. The tweed's pretty thick so it's nice to layer it. However, I'm too inclined towards black outfits in fall (all the leggings, heavy coats are usually darker colored in my wardrobe). I decided to spice up the look with a fur collar! The collar's detachable, and it's the exact jacket shown previously. Look how different it is here!

Hello Kitty Loves Liberty Print: Mook preview

I am a huge fan of Hello Kitty, and one of my favorite collaboration is the Hello Kitty for Liberty Print. They had a few collections out with Samantha Thavasa and I have some of the items. I was thrilled to see the Hello Kitty Loves Liberty Print Mook (magazine-book) out on the shelves! The cover is absolutely adorable. Comes with a snap-clasp pouch with Hello Kitty Liberty Print!

shu shu red- trying out the karl lagerfeld nail polish

I had shared previously about the Karl Lagerfeld Shu Uemura collaboration. I picked up the shu shu red polish earlier this month, and I'm pretty thrilled to try out the color! Of the three shades offered, this is the only color that I don't have in my OPI stash. I had similar colors to the beige and black so I didn't get those.

Darkness Eyelid Tape

Previously featured: Darkness Eyelash/Eyelid glue (here and here)

Darkness have many different eye products, and I had discussed about their series of eyelash and eyelid glue previously (see this and this). They also have lots of eyelid tapes. I personally do not use eyelid tapes, but here's one for comparison with the eyelid glue. There's 4 different ones available, and here is one of their eyelid tape.

Sigma Tightline Liner and Waterline Liner brushes

I recently got my hands on the Sigma E16 and E17 brushes, namely the tightline liner and waterline liner brushes. They come as part of the Performance Eye Kit. I must confess that I already have most of the brushes that are in the Performance Eye Kit- not by Sigma, but from a variety of brands. I was quite curious about how the tightline and waterline brushes would work out. I managed to get the brush set on sale, so it was an awesome deal!

DIY cat ear beret tutorial

Remember my obsession with cat ear headbands and cat ear berets? I've come up with a simple tutorial to make one for yourself! It requires materials that are widely available. I couldn't make a wool one myself as I don't have access to wool, but I managed to make one with felt. I'm quite pleased with the results, and hope this would be helpful to anyone who wants to make one! The one on the left (red) is DIY-ed while the one on the right (black) is the wool one that I bought.

DIY protective sleeve for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

My Galaxy Tab 2 is my new best buddy- it's a great help for work, and holds lots of music for me to listen to when I'm relaxing. I've always been using the hard case that came bundled with the Tab 2, but parts of it got scratched. I've been looking for a cute and functional sleeve to fit over the Tab 2, hard case included, but most of the sleeves that I found could not fit the tablet with the sleeve on. As such, I decided to make my own!
