Etude House Chocolate Kiss nail art

Valentine's Day is a mere two weeks away, and Etude House has released a new collection out for the occasion! It's called Chocolate Kiss. I received two sets of nail kits from the collection. They are in the theme of candy and love, aptly named Mint Chocolate and First Kiss. I am thrilled to try out the colors and experiment with different nail art looks! The kits are in stores now, just in time for a DIY manicure before V-Day!

Both set comes with 2 nail polishes, each 8ml. The kits also comes with the same set of love-themed nail stickers. I am definitely someone who loves girly stuff, and the stickers are a great highlight of the sweet nail kits. The color scheme for each nail kit gives a different vibe. Mint Chocolate is more cool-tone, while First Kiss is warmer. I did my nails using both the nail kits, and here are some inspirations and nail art designs that work really well with the kits!

Both kits come with the same nail stickers, as shown above. The color palette is very sweet with a blend of pinks, black, white and gold. The little designs range from little chocolate "kisses" to lip pints, and romantic slogans. I adore the bows and hearts too!

The nail polishes are, as always, very opaque and the color payoff is extremely rich. Perfect for doing nail art!  For all the base color, one coat is sufficient to give the tone that is seen in the bottle. I used one coat for the base color and topped all the nail art off with some topcoat.

I played around with different nail art designs using the various stickers available. I decided to play around with other fun patterns. I like how the white and black nail stickers go with the color scheme! It reminds me of mint, vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Very sweet and refreshing.

For the First Kiss kit, I did a sweeter, more romantic look with lots of pink. I even used the slogan stickers to form "sweet heart" on my thumb design. To top that off, I added a pink "kiss" chocolate to the design! A cute touch to a cheery yellow-based manicure.

The two nail polish kits are definitely very fun and perfect for the lovely Valentine's day season. The nifty kits retail for $12 each, and is available at all Etude House Singapore stores. Do note that the collection is limited edition!
